Many have criticized Supreme Court Justice Thomas for having never asked a single question during cases at the supreme court. He said he believed the documents should speak for themselves. Only after the death of Judge Scalia has Thomas broken his silence on the bench.
We to are confident the documents speak for themselves, which is why we published them in this article as it relates to the Sawin scandal at Lincoln-Way D210.
Today, the School Board President put out a press release, and let’s just say they should be ashamed and the people should call for the entire board to be removed and for law enforcement to step in and investigate the laundry list of illegal acts that have taken place at this school.
For starters, how convenient they said nothing about their agreement to not charge Sawin for any of the acts that took place before the agreement. Most taxpayers will be appalled by that clause in the agreement, but sadly it is not contained in the press release.
The statement that is sure to rile most taxpayers is as follows:
“The Board is mindful of and committed to serving as a responsible steward of the District’s educational and financial resources in all matters.”
Are they serious?
How does agreeing not to hold Sawin accountable for his actions rise to the level of serving as a responsible steward of the Districts financial resources………IN ALL MATTERS?
