Illinois Attorney General Binding Opinion on Secret Ballots – re: Edgar County Airport

AncelGlink Attorneys for public bodies have included the citizen’s arrest in its presentations. This linked document is a portion of their presentation at the Illinois Library Association Conference in Springfield, Illinois in October of 2014. Although we were not mentioned, we find it interesting that citizen’s arrest is now being discussed at association conventions as a consequence of violating the Open Meetings Act.
