Lincoln-Way D210 – Emergency before our eyes!

By Kirk Allen & John Kraft

On August 17, 2016

Will Co. (ECWd) –

Lincoln-Way D210 is facing an immediate emergency!  Please someone, anyone, get over to that school and take their shovel away as they are going to bury themselves alive at this pace.  Oh, wait, that actually may cure some of these events that frankly should be set up for prime-time comedy hour as most ordinary people can’t believe it’s happening.

This district is plagued with the most unusual pattern of deception, corruption, lies, stupidity, and a complete lack of understanding of our laws and how they apply, not to mention zero common sense.

For perspective, let’s look at this short list of things we have covered.

OK,  I think you get the point on the history of stupidity coming out of this particular school district.  If those listed above don’t sway your opinion, select from the many more not on that list that can be found at this link.

So what inspired yet another article on a school district already facing FBI and Securities and Exchange Commission investigations?

A sign regarding use of a bathroom!

Yes, a sign regarding the use of a bathroom at Lincoln-Way D210 was more than enough for a call to action as clearly the stupidity has hit a level that justifies calling this an emergency!  Each and every citizen in that district should attend the next board meeting and give them a piece of their mind, assuming you are under the impression that the taxes you pay for your kids to attend this school includes the liberty to use the bathroom of their choosing.

Someone has placed a sign on the wall that restricts the taxpayer-funded bathroom, built for students, faculty, and staff, from being used by those it was designed for. In fact, the restriction outlines that it may only be used for the rent-dodging private business that is being subsidized on the backs of the taxpayers.  Yes, just when you thought using tax dollars to train dogs instead of children was as bad as it could get, now they can’t even relieve themselves in the bathroom of their choosing, even though it was built for them with tax dollars of property owners in the district.

You really can’t make this stuff up!

Let’s forego the legal jargon and just concentrate on one glaring truth. CR ( isn’t that a cleaning solution) has his/her? head stuck so far up their butt that you can smell the hairspray on their breath.

CR, I did not state our articles are satire. I asked you if you know what satire is.

The information on our site is not a Blog. We are a nonprofit organization. Blogs are what individuals create for themselves. We are quite different.

Yes, they get their own bathroom while the taxpayers kids are forbidden from using it. The students come first, not the private business.

Accomplished nothing? Let’s see, FBI investigations, SEC investigations? Numerous resignations. Huh, accomplished nothing? You really are clueless!

Not sure why you would ask if I know what satire is unless you are equating your writing to it, otherwise it makes no sense to the conversation.

Some of the best journalistic websites are blogs written by professional journalists. Yes, on occasion you can find the daily blogs of various moms or dads, but blogs are not confined to “individuals”. Whether you are non profit or not has no bearing on the bombastic, sarcastic material you put out. The headline of this blog doesn’t make much sense, what exactly is the emergency before our eyes? Teens can’t make it to the next closest washroom? Much of this blog is pure inflammatory opinion, sprinkled with a fact or two.

Once again, you are clueless as to the facts. Whether they pay rent or not, AN has an agreement to run a daycare in each school. With that agreement comes compliance with DCFS rules, which includes a private bathroom. There are plenty of bathrooms for the kids to use. In all the years the daycare has been on premises, I have not heard of one teen who had a problem with using a different washroom. Again, this blog is nothing more than a hit piece intended to enflame an already volatile situation.

Please do not break your arm in your attempt to take all the credit for investigations, that most likely really had nothing to do with you. I do remember you being very upset when a tribune article was written and you were not given the credit you thought you deserved. You were silent for a long time after you threw your little fit and there was some relief. Then the LWATU publicly on their page, went out of their way to throw accolades your way and you were back. Sorry but if there is credit to be given for things being uncovered, I will give that credit to a small group of crazed people trying to keep a school open and quite literally harassisng the various agencies with petitions and material until they really had no choice but to do what they are doing.

One last thing, you say you are a non profit, can you provide your 501(c)3 information? I cant find it on the State’s non profit list.

The article being discussed was satire but that is not what you said. You made a statement claiming I said something that I did not. Pay attention to detail. It will avoid looking ignorant.

Interesting how you defend her regarding DCFS requirements but are silent on the laws that apply to the school board and how they award contracts and the fact she has been getting away without paying property tax on the space she is using, which is also mandatory by law. Your silence on those issues tells me you are not concerned about the law, except as it relates to the matter you support, which in this case is the day care.

I suggest you go learn the differance between a blog and a media source. We are not a blog.

Oh how wrong you are! When others take credit for work we did we take issue with that. You have NO IDEA how involved we have been in this process dating back MONTHS before the first article in Janaury. You have no clue what your talking about but you are welcome to have your opinion.

We are a non profit and are registered with the Attorney General as such. Why would you assume we are a C3? We are not. We are a C4. Registration number 01065745. Poppped up first try. You must not have tried too hard.

CR, Try actually looking at the State’s non-profit “list”: http://www.illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/charities/search/index.jsp

Why does Aunt Nancy’s get an unfair business advantage over other providers such as Frankfort Kindercare and LePetite Academy??? LW should terminate the contract ASAP. I am sure Aunt Nancy’s can find a vacant property to move to.

Is this the gang that couldn’t shoot straight or the Watergate burglars? You just can’t make up something this dumb.

It’s always the little things that kill you.

I know, there’s another “education professional” who occasionally comes up with unique ideas.

Aunt Nancy’s could say the KKK made them do it…

You might want to educate yourselves with the requirements of the DCFS as that is their rule that there be a bathroom designated for only the children of the daycare, whether there is rent being paid or not. Of course you might be ok with small children sharing bathrooms with HS students, it could give you more to write about.

I am very well aware of the requirements for them to have their own bathroom. I am also aware that the school was built for students, faculty and staff to use that bathroom LONG before a day care was allowed to enter into this picture. How is it that a private business takes precedence over taxpayers?

Aunt Nancy’s wants to be there then let them build their own bathroom!

I seem to have missed the part of the article where you specify that a private bathroom is indeed a DCFS requirement. The daycare is there, it needs it’s own bathroom and it has been that way long before you needed to write your hit piece. Funny people didn’t seem to have complaints for all of the years it has been this way. Also AN was in West and the former North from day one, so your statement of LONG before, would be inaccurate.

BTW, did you intentionally wait for the first day of school for your next installment of How can we trash Dist 210, as that picture has been on the Save LWN Facebook page (of which you are a proud member) for at least 2 weeks.

CR, do you know what satire is? I dont need to write the DCFS requirements in the article. That was not the point. The point is, a private business is mandating operations of a public institution. Do you not get that? I wrote the article today because today was the first day I saw the picture. And considering I dont live near there I did not know today was their first day of school.

The point is, you just stated your articles are satire, apparently meant to inflame an already sensitive situation. the point is, the daycare is there, whether they have a rent free contract or not and have to follow DCFS rules. Regardless of its stature of being a private business. It currently runs that business in the school buildings to benefit the staff of said schools. As long as they are in the schools, they will have their own bathroom to use in order to stay compliant. Your satire and sarcasm is childish.

You are right about one thing, you don’t live anywhere near here, hours away in fact, yet you need to bring your particular brand of nastiness and sarcastic, bombastic blogs to a situation that doesn’t need your added fuel. You have accomplished nothing other than pouring gas on an already volatile situation. Since you truly, as you admitted, know nothing about this district, why don’t you take your sick brand of satire somewhere closer to home where you can be better appreciated.
