Clark Co., IL. (ECWd) –
Unfortunately, we have learned that two Clark County Park District Commissioners have resigned effective immediately.
Stephanie Romero, a newly elected Commissioner cited “personal reasons that will take 100% of my time” as her reason for resigning.
Jeff Wallace, a long time and recently reelected Commissioner has stated “For 13 or the past 15 years, I have devoted myself as an elected Commissioner of the Clark County Park District. Events have unfolded recently that have made me re-evaluate a lot of things. As much as I hate to do this to the constituents who have elected me on four occasions, I have resigned. I only hope for your understanding at this time. This is very rough for me…”
Both Commissioners will be missed and unfortunately these resignations may allow Joe Ewing, the election cheater and the one who appointed himself to the Ethics Commission where complaints were heard against him, to appoint Commissioners who will continue the destructive path the Park District majority commissioners have been on the past two years.
To end on a good note, the next election for park district commissioners, in which 5 seats will be up for election, comes in just 15 short months.

Questions
Posted at 23:01h, 04 FebruaryWhy didn’t strohm seek reelection after his term was up and why is he interested now? Yargus should not get a seat…clearly the voters didn’t want him. Hello Joe Ewing.. how about you care about what the People want!?

Posted at 16:52h, 24 DecemberWhat an offense if they do appoint Mr. Yargus. He has an active ethics investigation against him in collusion with Charity Murphy!
