Findlay, Illinois – Dr. Christopher Boehm Facing Indirect Criminal Contempt Charge

Shelby Co. (ECWd) –

Dr. Christoper Boehm, the same “Dr.” who invoked his 5th amendment rights after filing a bogus petition objection complaint (article here) has now been charged with Indirect Criminal Contempt.

The following is found in the Judic.com docket entry on 3/20/2024:

“COURT MAKES FINDING THAT THE ALLEGATIONS IN STATE’S PETITION ARE “SERIOUS” IN NATURE; COURT DETERMINES THAT C. BOEHM WILL NOT BE DETAINED AT THIS TIME SINCE THIS IS A NON-VIOLENT OFFENSE AND COURT WILL NOT CONSIDER ISSUING A ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE AT THIS TIME PENDING FURTHER RESEARCH OF COURT AND PARTIES;THIS CASE TO BE FILED AS CC CASE BY CLERK; ATTY FINKS TO FILE ANY OTHER MOTIONS WITHIN 7-DAYS; RESET FOR HEARING ON ANY PENDING MOTIONS ON APRIL 15, 2024 AT 1:00 P.M.”

While we do not know what Boehm did leading to the charge, we do not believe it had anything to do with his invoking his 5th Amendment rights related to the petition objection.  While we think the public has a right to know who in the county courthouse assisted Boehm in making copies for his bogus filing in that matter, all offices have denied records requests for that information.

There have been rumors, which we can not confirm, that Boehm bragged about being kicked out of a Grand Jury last month. It is possible this charge is tied to that but that is totally speculation as we have not been able to obtain a copy of the petition filed with the court.

The statement from the court tends to indicate this is no laughing matter. “COURT MAKES FINDING THAT THE ALLEGATIONS IN STATE’S PETITION ARE “SERIOUS” IN NATURE”

We attempted to contact Boehm for comment but he has us blocked on his Shelby County First page.  We have yet to see any disclosure on his page about this charge.

    Oftentimes, comments given here on this website rather than many given on Facebook, are more thoughtful and discerning. Here comments pivot from discernment to poor quality complaints about matters that are almost completely unrelated to the article. The only takeaway from these comments is a general disapproval of the ECWd’s, and a more specific one for their relationship to attorneys Hanlon and DeVore.

    Tom Devore and Denise Ambroziak. Not to mention Rob Hanlon’s failures. Of course you sure aren’t gonna write anything about them. Because they aren’t “public officials”. Nice try boys, but you are going to be exposed yet again.

      Devore represented hundreds of people, and has never represented the ECWd. Denise represented us in the past but has not had any troubles recently (or ever that we know of), and we are not aware of any “failures” of Hanlon. You should try being honest with yourself and quit listening to convicted wife beaters – memes and innuendos do not compare to truth.

        Perhaps if you would remove your heads from the sand, or from the asses of these criminals you associate with, you might recognize failures more often. Tom Devore may not have officially represented you in the past, but you have certainly aligned, embraced, and supported his often insane false diatribe. Hanlon’s many failures seem to be ignored by you as well. First, he failed as a State’s Attorney for Shelby County. This is evident in his failure to run again. He knew he would be soundly defeated, just as Brad Halbrook and several foul County Board members you also supported in Shelby County. Brad’s hometown and County saw through his ignorance and self-promoting failures. What has he done for Shelby County? NOTHING, but brings divisiveness and chaos. Unfortunately, Effingham County has not had the opportunity to realize his failure as a State Representative. If you’re not aware of Ms. Ambroziak’s name being mentioned as a potential litigant, then you are either not the “Journalist” you wish you were, or further proof your head is buried up someone’s ass. I think it’s an equal share of both. Hanlon’s further proof of failure is the scathing report card on Potential Judges. Of the list published, he, by far, was the lowest-scoring candidate. on a scale of 1-100, In certain categories, he ranked in at a 12 if memory serves me, and overall was well below the 50% mark and somewhere near 30 points behind the second lowest candidate.

          First, we don’t “associate with criminals” (and we don’t like and share posts from convicted wife-beaters either) – What failures in Shelby County are there? Not running for an office is failure? Have you even looked at the numbers of people convicted and sent to prison since he has been in office (compared to the last several years)? You are misguided on where the divisiveness and chaos is coming from. How would we ever know of anyone’s name being “mentioned as a potential litigant” – would like to know about that one as long as the info doesn’t come from another convicted wife-beater. As far as the “report card” – it was an informal poll – and being “likeable” by all the attorneys does not make one a good judge. Previous appointed judges in that circuit also scored the lowest in the poll.

        this also was good reading Road district attorney Robert Hanlon negotiated the settlement deal with Crystal Lake attorney Denise Ambroziak to pay the Edgar County Watchdogs $40,000 to take the road district out of the lawsuit.

          Yep – for the legal fees incurred. That was their cheapest way out of that mess. The township finally settled for more than that one. To think, all they had to do was provide the public records requested of them.

            as always twist the facts the public records you already had then sued because somebody removed them oh wait hidden camera no one knew about wow you guys rock and as always brad somebody had nothing to do with you going to shelby county wait i see some money coming from the county to well somebody for stupiity keep up the great work saving tax payers money

    So two different attorneys who have represented you both and have been in trouble recently aren’t worth articles. But a private citizen is? You are.showing your colors, but that’s to be expected.
