Grundy/Kendall County Regional Office of Education – (ECWd) –
On top of the $37,950 already given away by the GKROE in three previous years, in 2023, ROE Superintendent Chris Mehochko gave away more taxpayer money to the ROE employees totaling $21,750.00.
Obviously, the GKROE has so much tax money they have to resort to giving it away – we suggest his budget be cut by treble the amounts given away. A $100,000 budget cut for next year might bring some sanity back to this ROE.
Twenty-nine employees each grabbed $750 from taxpayers last year.
