Failed Crawford County Coroner Candidate Arrested for DUI –

ROBINSON, IL. (ECWd) –

Stephen Skidmore, the failed candidate for Crawford County Coroner added to his long history of run-ins with the law this month.

According to court records, he was pulled over and ticketed for improper use of turn signal on June 5th.

He was also arrested for DUI – driving under the influence of alcohol. His first appearance in Court is set for August 14, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. in the Crawford County Courthouse.

All those who may have voted for him during the last election are probably happy he didn’t get elected.

This is the reason proper vetting of candidates for elected office must occur, and must occur publicly.

We have previously written on Skidmore’s lying about previous arrest records where he refused a breathalyzer on a Federal Installation and later plead guilty to the DUI (click here). This person has shown, once again, that he has no business in public office and thankfully lost his election to a better qualified candidate.
