Piatt County Board's Emergency Meeting to fund Emergency Management -

Piatt Co., IL. (ECWd) -

The Piatt County Board held an Emergency Meeting this morning at 10:00 via teleconference for the express purpose of funding the Piatt County Emergency Management.

The Agenda:

Friday, April 3, 2020

10:00 a.m. AGENDA
• Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance
• Roll Call
• Amendment to budget for the EMA Director
• Public Comments (2 minutes total per speaker)
• Adjournment

Attorney Ed Flynn, who was appointed by the Piatt County Circuit Court as attorney for the county board during litigation in a mandamus action brought by the Piatt County State's Attorney, was present and the board considered and approved by unanimous vote to an amended budget increase for the EMS in the total amount of $36,188.00 needed in response to the current emergency.

Breakdown: Administration of $15,968.00 and Operation of $20,220.00.

This should carry the Piatt County EMS thru the next 45 days.
