Partial wall collapse on former bank building in Paris, IL –

Paris, IL. (ECWd) –

We first reported on this building in April of this year (here)

The West wall of the former Citizens National Bank (and former Dimond Bros Insurance building) on the south side of the Courthouse square in Paris, Illinois, partially collapses today.

This building is in the middle of the block on the south side of the Edgar County Courthouse.

Photos of the wall were sent to us by a reader.

It is unknown at this time what actions are being taken or how long any cleanup or repair will take.
