That Moment When You Appoint Yourself To The Ethics Commission To Hear Your Own Complaint –

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On November 22, 2015

Clark Co., IL. (ECWd) –
Yes, we touched on this before, but thought it prudent to talk bout it again now that there is video of the Ethics Commission appointments.
At the last Clark County Park District Board of Commissioners Meeting, November 19, 2015, one of the items for action was to appoint the district’s Ethics Commission, which consists of three people.
As we wrote before, there were three appointed, which include:

— Glen Kuehnel, current elected parks commissioner

— Gary Strohm, citizen and business owner – who regularly does business with the park district AND is a business partner to Ron Stone, a named respondent in an Ethics Complaint

— Joe Ewing, current “elected” (LOL) park board chairman – who is a named respondent in the Ethics Complaint

How does that look for a fair and impartial upcoming hearing?
Ewing, Stone, Yargus, Stepp, and Charity Murphy are named “respondents” in the ethics complaint.
Sometimes, things are simply too crooked to think they cou0ld have possibly happened, but in this case there is video evidence at approximately the 2 minute, 35 second mark in the below video:
