United States (ECWd) –
Almost four years after filing multiple lawsuits in Federal Court, US Dominion Inc. has moved to dismiss the cases against Rudoph Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Sidney Powell, P.C., and Defending the Republic Inc, (collectively, the Powell Defendants).
“Plaintiffs US Dominion, Inc., Dominion Voting Systems, Inc., and Dominion Voting Systems Corporation (“Dominion”) and Defendant Rudolph W. Giuliani (“Giuliani”), by and through their respective undersigned counsel, hereby stipulate and agree, pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1)(A)(ii), to the dismissal of all claims and causes of action asserted in this matter by Dominion against Giuliani with prejudice. Each party shall bear its own attorneys’ fees, expenses, and costs.” Stipulation of Dismissal with Prejudice
“Plaintiffs US Dominion, Inc., Dominion Voting Systems, Inc., and Dominion Voting Systems Corporation (“Dominion”) and Defendants Sidney Powell, Sidney Powell, P.C., and Defending the Republic, Inc. (collectively, the “Powell Defendants”), by and through their respective undersigned counsel, hereby stipulate and agree, pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1)(A)(ii), to the dismissal of all claims, counterclaims, and causes of action asserted in this matter by Dominion against the Powell Defendants, and by the Powell Defendants against Dominion, with prejudice. Each party shall bear its own attorneys’ fees, expenses, and costs.” Stipulation of Dismissal with Prejudice
We note that there is no indication that the dismissal is based on an agreed settlement, which is commonly found annotated in cases dismissed due to a settlement.
While we know discovery was a long, drawn-out process in these cases, we may never know the reason US Dominion Inc. chose to drop this case. We suspect once this word gets out on a larger scale, there will be all kinds of conspiracy theories pushed. All we can say, Dominion dropped the case, and neither Giuliani nor Powell has been found guilty of the allegations raised against them. We make this point because of the vast number of folks who insisted they were guilty when we first published our articles about their lawsuits.
