Posted at 04:46h, 24 FebruaryGreat work!! Success stories in combating corruption, all welcome here in Illinois. Congratulations!
Learning how to make a FOIA request in Illinois is the first step in attaining justice.
Regarding the Edgar County Airport, FOIA response documents proved their grant application was based on lies. The number of airplanes in residency, the fuel sold and the size of the fuel tank needing replaced was false information attested by the airport manager in the application,
This was done to gain federal funding for an unjustified project and one concocted by his airport advisory chairman (close friend)(while serving in conflict)(and owner of the local concrete company) Chris Patrick.
The airport advisory board chairperson serving in conflict was Chris Patrick. Chris is also the elected County Board member, then elected chair person that continued his conflict of interest and was forced to resign because of John Kraft and Kirk Allen’s spotlight on his wrong doing..
That $880,000 .00 airport project was halted with all monies withdrawn by the FAA based on FOIA documents and information exposing the fraud.
FOIA’s work!
In November 2013, just weeks after the FAA halted the grant, two aircraft used in my deceased son’s business were firebombed. Spray painted on the aircraft was “this is our airport” and “fuck Rob”. I’m Rob.
I volunteered and passed my polygraph, Airport manager, Jimmy Wells and concrete plant owner Chris Patrick with drew their agreement to take same. Articles worth reading on the Edgar County Watchdogs web site.

Posted at 23:25h, 23 FebruarySounded like a comedy show, but then it kept going, and going, and going. After hearing all of this (and it is JUST the tip of the ignorance iceberg) it makes you long for public pillories. How you do this and not have extreme problems with blood pressure is beyond comprehension. Great job, dogs, but how many thousands more do you need to train before a dent will be made?
