The Ch 3 news said that the “Fire Marshal” found the decedent’s body two days after the fire during the Fire Marshal’s scene investigation. Was that the IL Fire Marshal or did WCIA mis-state the title of a Paris FD investigator? Why did the Paris FD not find his body during their initial on-scene investigation and search? Was there purportedly solid info that the decedent was not home at the time of the blaze but if so, they obviously were not able to confirm his whereabouts. How did this (not finding him for two days – only to be found by the Fire Marshal) happen?

Wow, another fire. That apartment house has been there for a long time. I lived in another apartment house directly behind it in the 1940’s. Hope no one was hurt.
