Shelby Co. (ECWd) –
Shelby County Corrections Officer Christopher Zakowski was arrested for DUI in Moweaqua, Illinois June 4, 2020, at 11:58 pm.
We submitted a request for the actual police report and the video of the stop, however, those requests have not been fulfilled as of publication. Those requests went to both the Moweaqua PD and the Shelby County State’s Attorney. We will update the article once that information is provided.
We understand Zakowski is currently on unpaid leave from his position at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
