College of DuPage – Update on Open Meetings Complaint –

College of DuPage (ECWd) –

This is related to the September 25, 2014 College of DuPage Board of Trustees meeting in which I filed an Open Meetings Act complaint with the Illinois Attorney General’s Public Access Counselor (complaint and AG’s Letter). This complaint is: 2014 PAC 31511

On page 7 of COD’s response, they claim there are 30 seats available for the general public…and “from time to time” COD reserves “a few” seats… The reality is, that COD has been reserving half or more than half of those 30 “general public” seats thereby preventing the general public from sitting in them (pictures below the pdfs.

COD has responded to the complaint and I provided my response to their letter. Both can be read below:
