We were informed by a village trustee last night that the Bellmont employee hired by the mayor shortly after he was released from IDOC has been terminated from village employment.
Is this still Edgar County Watchdogs? I know that is still the title but your content seam to be about places outside of the county. There are plenty of issues within Edgar County that should be addressed. I know an update on the White Oaks incident, when can we expect to an official report on the possible misconduct of the 911 operators. The State Police and FBI haven’t made any official statements that I am aware of regarding the investigation. What is the status of the new jail, I haven’t heard anything about it’s completion, but the Prairie Press court updates stated that individuals were being held at the new facility. If you need something new just venture on down to the courthouse and sit in on court, where the Judges believe themselves as above all and that the law is not static, it is whatever they say whenever they say, they even have the Public Defenders working against their clients. If these things are not spoken on by the media, or anyone else in a manner that reaches to populous then we stand little chance at ever removing the corruption from our government and we might at well take to knee now.
These are very busy guys, Keith. Actually they are angels sent to us to fight for all the people in Illinois. Your county is not the only one in the republic of Illinois having issues in this decadent society.
We should appreciate their hard work and uncompromising journalism that is giving all of us a ray of hope.
