Paris, Ill. (ECWd) –
Today’s Hearing with Jesse L. Kollman resulted in Judge Isaf ordering him held without bail, finding him a “real and present threat” to the public.
Jordan Kollman is being charged with the following related to the alleged shooting at White Oak Park in Paris:
- Attempted First Degree Murder – a Class X Felony
- Unlawful discharge of firearm
- Felon in possession of firearm
- Hate Crimes – a Class 3 Felony
He was granted a public defender, and the next hearing is on April 24, 2026, at 10:0 a.m.
The State indicated that initially, the Kollman brothers and Jaydon Reynolds claimed they were “attacked for no reason by three black guys,” but the evidence and 911 calls showed something different.
During the incident in which Jordan allegedly brandished a firearm, fired it, and threatened others, he was shot three times by one of the victims in self-defense – two times in the abdomen, and once in the left hip. He was transported to the Paris hospital and life-flighted for treatment of the gunshot wounds.
