Salinas is a former candidate for the United States Senate, and on April 6, 2021, we published an article about her and her campaign being sued for Fraud, Breach of Contract, and Violation of the Wage Payment and Collection Act.
In late-March of 2021, Salinas claimed she was filing suit against opposing candidate Peggy Hubbard for defamation claiming Hubbard accused her of being “wanted or implicated in a murder three years ago in Texas.”
