Poplar Grove Gets New Village President, And It’s Not Owen Costanza –

Poplar Grove, Ill. (ECWd) –

As a result of the April 1, 2025, election, the Village of Poplar Grove will see a new Village President, and it is not Owen Costanza.

Krista Richardson won the election over Owen Costanza.

This marks the fourth election Costanza has lost (precinct committeeman twice and village president twice). Looks like he will have to wait for at least another four years before sporting those coveted Mayoral license plates again.

If you remember our past articles, Costanza is the one who sued residents after the last election for defamation, lost the lawsuit, appealed the lawsuit and lost again, while at the same time admitting to everything he sued them over.
