Maryland, USA (ECWd) –
Thomas C. Goldstein, founder and publisher of SCOTUSblog.com, was indicted today in Maryland Federal Court.
The 50-page, 22-Count Indictment alleges the following:
- Four Counts of Tax Evasion for 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2021
- Ten Counts of Aiding and Assisting the Preparation of False and Fraudulent Tax Returns (2016-2021)
- Five Counts of Willful Failure to Pay Taxes
- One Count of False Loan Application
- Two separate Counts of False Statement on Loan Application
Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
