What is the matter with security doing their job? This is yellow journalism by an outsider attempting to discredit a minority woman politician who stands up to journalists engaged in fake news as in the false story this website published weeks ago about an elected official being arrested when it fact that was not true. Libel and slander against strong minority woman by people that don’t even live near the community.. I looked up Edgar county and it is 150 miles from our community., stay there!

Security was not “doing their job” as they should know better. No amount of money would make me to do what her fake security was doing.

Are you kidding? You don’t live here evidently because this ex-con has drained our cities and spent up all monies. Stop covering for your family, it’s not a good look.

This Violates the rule in OMA that allows for the right to film public proceedings,

All persons may speak, write and publish freely, being
responsible for the abuse of that liberty. In trials for
libel, both civil and criminal, the truth, when published
with good motives and for justifiable ends, shall be a
    sufficient defense.
    (Source: Illinois Constitution.)

Filming the public proceeding is part of the guaranteed “publishing freely,” This dictatorial violation of Article 1, Section 4 of the Illinois state constitution needs to be stopped by the sheriff. The person being paid to violate the law needs charged.
