Friday, April 19, 2024 The FBI did not raid Village Hall
today as is being falsely reported.
No further comments at this time.

Statement on Village of Dolton facebook. It was not a raid, it was a court ordered records search. As has happened before, the headline is fake news designed to harass a tough minded minority woman fighting the entrenched interests by someone that lives hours away from our community. Cover Edgar County not our community. We don’t want you around. You have cost us taxpayer dollars over needless lawsuits that enrich downtown Chicago law firms.

“It was not a raid.” In other news, Baghdad Bob says American tanks are not in Baghdad (while the tank guns are firing in the background). The FBI does not conduct anything officially called a “raid.” Raid is a media term and one used by the public. The FBI uses more technical terms like “court ordered records search.” What kind of court order? A warrant, of course. For what purpose? To conduct a criminal investigation. So, in other words, a raid.
