Sangamon Co. (ECWd) –
With thousands of pieces of legislation being contemplated in Springfield, it’s nice to see some common sense legislation for a change.
The 102nd District State Representative Adam Niemerg has introduced HB 5105 which would prohibit COVID-19 vaccination mandates.
I have yet to speak with a person who supports employers having the power to mandate a person’s medical vaccinations, COVID-19 or otherwise.
This particular bill would be effective for the vaccine and boosters that only had emergency use authorization. The full text of the legislation can be viewed at this link.
Adam Neimurg is currently running as a write-in for the 102nd District State Representative. We thank him for his attempt to protect peoples rights when it comes to these types of matters.

Posted at 10:11h, 02 MarchThis is a good bill that was proposed by one of the few good legislators in Illinois.
Please advise once witness slips have been opened for this bill so that those of us who support it can submit one in favor of it.
Science is descriptive, not prescriptive. Science isn’t some authoritarian force that can compel people to get jabbed, mask up, etc.
Personal liberty must be preserved. Science cannot be used as a pretext for tyranny.
It’s sad that so many people think that science compels certain behaviors and policies such as forced vaccinations. Science is simply an impartial tool that allows us the observe the world as it is.
Employers and schools also need to be made to accept all religious exemptions submitted for their vaccine and other health related mandates.
I hate when religious exemptions require the approval of a religious leader or religious institution. Religious exemptions should be based on one’s own personal relationship with God.
