On July 16, 2023

Dolton, Ill. (ECWd) –

At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Friday morning, July 14, 2023, former Dolton Village Trustee Valeria Stubbs was the unfortunate recipient of at least 9 rounds fired into her vehicles while they were parked at her house in Dolton, Illinois.

Stubbs was a vocal opponent of Mayor Tiffany Henyard while she was a Trustee for the village and continues to vocally oppose her apparent lawless actions.

In the video below, after at least 9 rounds were fired, you can see two individuals running from the alley and get into a white vehicle which speeds off in the direction of the camera after they got into it.

This cannot be permitted to continue.

When will enough be enough? This sounds as thuggery as it gets. This is what she has allowed to manifest. Dolton, wake up!!!!

This is Dolton! When people don’t hear gunfire they call the police and ask what’s going on. Nothing toes here move along!
