Sangamon Valley Public Water District – Mahomet, Ill. (ECWd) –
According to the November 28, 2022, meeting minutes, the Sangamon Valley Public Water District approved “updating” the pay for trustees and board chairman to $1200 and $1500 respectively. See bottom of page 2 (here).
This action is unauthorized according to the Public Water District Act, Section 4, which sets the time for setting the compensation of trustees. Adopting the resolution on November 28 is not the same as adopting it during the first meeting in May.
“. . . Compensation in either case shall be determined by resolution of the respective boards of trustees, to be adopted annually at their first meeting in May.“
As if ignoring the law is not bad enough, their action gives the public the appearance of trustees trying to “cash in” on increased payments after the passage of the referendum, which made them become elected, just weeks prior to this November 28 meeting.

Posted at 20:16h, 05 AprilYeah so my uncle finally got a pay increase after serving that community for years. He built one of only a few high tech water infrastructures in the United States of this kind to bring safe water to your community. His job has constantly been threatened by bud parkhill and he was supposed to have been given a contract all these years securing his job but bud and his little henchmen on the board never saw fit to give him one because threatening somebody who has a family to support with a bad heart condition is a great way to keep somebody under your thumb. My uncle fought for him and his employees to finally get an IMRF retirement and now the board is voting on hiring a contract company so they can avoid paying future employees a decent retirement in the future, which takes away many retirement opportunities for future workers in that community. Bud parkhill and his henchmen are the only ones that have gained anything from that water district. Not my Uncle all he ever did was work day and night trying to ensure safe water for that community. He did his job with pride. The harassment and retaliation he has had to deal with because of this board is going to come to light and anybody spreading slander about him needs to be careful so I encourage you to reword how you have typed this very public post as you don’t know what has been going on behind closed doors, then again maybe you do as Bud likes to brag that he has ties with the mob and has threatened my uncle with that before.

He got caught in some shit and threw a temper tantrum. He should be in jail for making threats. I mean, the chairman of the board called the police on him. Wonder why? Well I mean we all know why, he threatening to shoot the incoming board members. What a punk.

Posted at 12:19h, 22 AprilSo funny story about that, one was a woman who tried to get my uncles other retirement blocked from being paid out who he has absolutely no interactions with and it was illegal for her to do so, the common denominator is she works for the bud parkhill in his office by a grocery store. then it was Bud parkhill who has made it his mission to slander my uncle to the public, then it was buds son who doesn’t even serve the water district but bud attempted to get him on the board but his son is felon so my uncle made sure that didn’t happen to protect the water district. My uncle made a comment out of frustration to Megan who crossed the professional boundary making my uncle feel like she was on his side and also made comments herself out of frustration stating she could just kill everybody on the board. My uncle owns no fire arms. He is also a whistle blower against this water district and Bud parkhill. This is a case of retaliation that has left the work place against a man who served that community faithfully and honestly for 15 years. My uncle is a neurodivergent man who after 15 years of abuse and watching Bud parkhill and his cronies find loopholes to line their own pockets spoke up. I highly doubt you would’ve even lasted that long so please shut your mouth and stop slandering him.
