Calumet Park School District 132 Meeting; Obvious Incompetence –

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On December 6, 2022

Calumet Park, IL. (ECWd) –

Reports coming out of last night’s Calumet Park School District 132 board meeting appear to indicate that almost the entire board needs to be removed from office for what they did last night.

They certainly failed to demonstrate the school’s moto of “E3 = Exemplifying Excellence Everyday.”

Similar to the charade in Dolton School District 149, CPSD held a sham “hearing” with their pre-determined outcome of removing the board chairman, even though they lack any statutory authority for such removal.

The board presented its “evidence” which consisted of nothing more than hearsay and false accusations, with no witnesses.

Board members then refused to answer any questions from the chairman’s attorney, which is required in a hearing of this type.

We have requested a copy of the meeting video, and understand it is quite a show.

It will be published here when we receive it, along with a detailed report of the meeting.

This is becoming commonplace in Cook County school districts and must be put to an end.
