Shelby Co. (ECWd) –
WIPFLI notified Shelby County on October 12, 2022, that they will no longer be providing audit or accounting services for Shelby County. They only cite “after further evaluation” as the reasoning.
We first wrote about the audit and some of the concerning information in it in this article.
This is the second Auditing firm to sever ties with Shelby County in the last 2 years.

Posted at 13:48h, 20 OctoberThere are a lot more layers to the onion. Too many elected officials who want to make sure the peeling of the layers stops. WIPFLI ran while they could.

Posted at 05:58h, 21 Octoberwouldnt be surprised if there were backroom dealings and threats related in this crap. After watching all the meetings its obvious they do not want solutions they want status quo and for everyone to go away.
