Livingston Co., IL. (ECWd) –

Last March we reported on Andrew Krominga’s arrest. He is/was a Corrections Officer at the Illinois Department of Corrections, Pontiac Correctional Center. We do not know his current employment status with the DOC.

According to the Livingston County Circuit Clerk’s office, his initial charges were 2 counts of domestic battery. Count 2 was not prosecuted, and Count 1 was amended to Reckless Conduct, a Class A Misdemeanor.

His case was disposed of through the Withhold Judgment / Supervision process, where he either pleads guilty or is found guilty and sentenced to a fine/costs and supervision. If successful in supervision and paying the fines/costs, his finding of guilty is dismissed. This is general reserved for first time offenders and traffic tickets.

Krominga was sentenced to 24 months of court supervision and $814.00 in fines/costs. He still owes $64.00.

We obtained this information from the Livingston County Circuit Clerk since the court records website is currently down.
