    Hey go after Chicago too with watchdog investigating.

    Look how the Chicago Police operated “fusion center” is reportedly “investigating” (cough cough, more like wasting our tax dollars) First Amendment protected political activity;

    Any bets as to how CPD keeps managing to raid the wrong addresses all the time? Too busy doing political spying to verify intel before barging into peoples’ homes maybe?

    There isn’t sufficient independent oversight or any real accountability when these shadowy East German Stasi-like entities waste our tax dollars pretending to be working in the public interest.

    If they worked, then how on Earth did the Capitol rioters manage to swarm DC and no one was prepared? Waut! Let me guess. All the “fusion center” analysts and affiliated police departments were too busy spying on Black Lives Matter maybe?

    The ECWs should FOIA Lori Lightfoot’s corrupt city and its corrupt bumbling incompetent police department.

    Just saying

    A point of clarification on the decline of local news investigative reporting…WAND’s I-team still does some of this painful work. Examples include self-dealing going on in Rochester, Shelbyville, and Atlanta, Illinois government, which were also investigated/reported on by Illinois Leaks.

      I agree with your comments on WAND’s I-Team. They do a wonderful job.
