COPA Adam Toledo Shooting Video – Slow Motion Shows No Gun In Hands When Shot, Possibly Tossed It While Raising Them

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On April 15, 2021

CHICAGO, IL. (ECWd) –

When viewed in slow motion, it appears to show Adam Toledo did not have a weapon in his hands when he was shot but may have tossed it while he raised them.

At about the 4-second mark in the video, a screenshot shows what appears to be a gun in his right hand.

There was a pistol found several feet away (we estimate at about 12 feet) at the base of the fence.

Portion at full speed:

Video clip at full speed, then 50% speed, then 10% speed (the 50 and 10 percent is also zoomed in for clarity).

You can view the video at full speed in its entirety at this link (here) and then by clicking on the “BWC1 Shooting Officer” clip, and it shows where a gun was spotted on the ground, we estimate it to be around 12 feet away from Adam Toledo.

The law Enforcement Government Agent should be tried and convicted. We need accountability for Police Now.

Good idea, Then maybe go after the parents that let these kids run the streets all night with guns, shooting at moving vehicles! We have plenty of accountability for the police, How about a little personal responsibility from people and the ir out of control kids? This thug stopped being a kid when he picked up that gun!

Black kid with a gun is a “thug.” Thousands of white men storming the Capital and beating cops with poles and fists are “patriots.”

Black kid that had a gun deserves to be shot dead in the street with no trial. White kid that shot 2 people with an AR-15 was ignored by police and allowed to go home.

If you don’t see the differences in the way that police treat race, then you are ignorant or just approve of the racism.

Ah, someone needs to get more updated news before yelling nonsense.

The capitol “riots” have been basically debunked and it wasn’t white men that stormed anything with any guns. Did you miss those videos that showed the cops invited people in? How about those effeminate antifa ladyboys that have been arrested for perpetrating the whole show? Don’t make up crap just to appease your fragile mental state.

The white kid that shot and killed the 2 rioting pedos in WI was defending himself. You must have forgotten why that had to happen. Again, there were video evidence of that.

Please go visit the nice ‘hood’ that spawned Obama, for instance, and see if you see any white violent men adding to the weekly statistics. Those places are where the vast majority of shootings occur daily. What would you lefties call those “teens” or “youths” ????? Go ahead and have chat with those angels and see how America has wronged them? Better yet, get there around 2:30am, there will be plenty of real teens to find. Good luck, but make final arrangements first.

No matter how hard you lie, you still can’t come up with truthful examples of any violent white anything to support your version of racism.

Learn to read, remember, and maybe just a little discernment or critical thinking. Your life will be profoundly improved.

“ANG” – I couldn’t discern if you were criticizing the current incident, inferring wrong-doing on the part of the officer and an analogy to the Prospero Lassi case? IF you were, that’s comparing apples to oranges. The Lassi case involved police allegedly tazing – eleven times – a man in the throes of a seizure. In the present case, you have an armed suspect being shot by an officer a nano-second after the suspect throws down his weapon while simultaneously/quickly turning toward the officer. TOTALLY ASIDE FROM YOUR POST, I note the media likes to use the emotional terms, “13 year old boy.” Ha. What a croc. By their own standards, I call 1-bull s— and 2- racism (by their own silly woke standards). This African-American “boy” – what a contradiction in their own standards for terminology – becomes a dangerous man when he unlawfully picks up, unlawfully carries, and apparently…unlawfully uses a firearm – especially when said “boy” may have shot at a passing vehicle, thereby committing a violent felony (Attempt Murder/Aggravated Discharge of Firearm). The media are anarchists. Jerk their FCC licenses,

I didn’t mean to compare apples to oranges, just pointing out that there are plenty of cases of horrible cops out there who end up costing taxpayers money. These guys couldn’t even manage tasers properly. The case was all over the news locally as well as over at Reason.com. Just a horrible black mark on the department.

The one cop just slithered off to another town to work. They just go elsewhere and get hired again as police officers in other departments.

That was the point, since the thread was about police incidents.

As for the kid, where was his father to ensure he wasn’t out at that hour with anything in his hand whatsoever? Where are the parents? Broken homes are a problem that no one in the media talks about. These kids end up in gangs because many have no father in the home, no doubt. You see a nuclear family move into a neighborhood these days and it’s like “Whoa! Normalcy rather than dysfunction!”

I will agree the MSM omit unpleasant truths like the epidemic of fatherlessness in America.

The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) administers Title IV-D of the Social Security Act.

HFS uses standard form(s) to process information about child support. Incredibly, one of these standard forms has a prescribed area (lines on the page) to write-in as many as twelve different child support case numbers.

That’s 12 cases, and any one case could involve more than 1 child. Staggering.

And of course, cops ALWAYS have the benefit of slowing down the video frame by frame before making a decision.

That’s after they get to talk it out with the criminal about the injustice of America that forces the criminal to act out. Yeah, all good.

Good luck to fools who believe any of that will work if and when they have to face those “teens”.

As opposed to your woke media’s codes such as “teens” and “youths” ?

In 100% of the news stories when the msm supposedly report on a crime, even with clear videos, where those “teens” and “youths” along with their hilariously pronounced names commit violence, we can already decipher the codes.

    • HT
      Posted at 23:55h, 16 April

A few cops were targeted in the early part of March, all in those nice ‘hoods, and there wasn’t even a peep from these msm scum.

A tragedy would be a loss of a police officer doing his/her job. A tragedy would be kids living in those ‘hoods among such animals.

A 13-year old walking the ‘hoods at that hour, with illegal firearm, and we’re supposed to feel sorry for him? Only in this upside-down new culture of woke idiots is this narrative even possible,

tragedy – an event causing great suffering, destruction, and distress, such as a serious accident, crime, or natural catastrophe.

loss – the fact or process of losing something or someone.

Re: we’re supposed to feel sorry for him? Yes, we should, but only in the context that he was a 13 year old child and evidently had no parental oversight. Quite probably (as MURFALINI said) his parents did love him. Unfortunately and apparently, they did not love him enough to take their parenting responsibilities seriously. This fault for this tragic death should FIRST lie at the feet of his parents or guardians….

The life circumstance of a 13 year old human being is found at a fatal interaction with the police, and I’m a woke idiot for having a profound sense of loss? In a related story, the State’s Attorney indicated that the prosecutor of the case failed to inform himself before making official statements. Is that an interruption to a cultural norm for accepting failures in general, or is it more appropriate to maintain the status quo and limit such abject notions to the cook county prosecutor’s office?

      • PK
        Posted at 10:00h, 17 April

BTW HT, the officer’s interaction with the teen shot brought a tear to my eye. Mostly I guess because he seemed another human being. I dunno.

        • HT
          Posted at 14:32h, 17 April

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt for being human and feeling the loss of another human being. I’ll even concede that it’s never a pleasure to take another life, especially directly as the police officer had to do. In civil and lawful society, the people who contribute to such construct don’t take pleasure in others’ demise. Perhaps we should collectively realize that for over a year so far, our American society is becoming less and less civil and even less lawful. What’s more troubling is that the increasing disregard for anything civil is becoming more apparent that the media and the current local, state, federal governments are behind it.

I am a racial minority, who came to America at 12 years old, and by 13, I already worked for $1.80/hour, delivering newspapers. No matter how clueless I was at that age, I knew enough to not to be out carrying guns and hanging out w/ gangs at 2:30am in the ‘hood”, and we lived near the ‘hood’ in those days.

As much as I may understand your compassion for human life, I don’t waste my compassion on certain people who choose not to be civil or be part of the opportunities that they have in America. I’d be more inclined to feel more compassion for those folks who still live among such criminals, who have young children that are exposed to such dregs. What about the lost opportunities of the young kids in those neighborhoods who are not involved in gangs? That’s really sad.

Besides, there are so much more compassion and work that should be needed to defend the truly innocents who are at risk or being terminated by the very same governments who are largely responsible for the perpetuating these criminals while fixing the narrative to call it a “tragedy” each time one of them gets killed.
          It’s always the same scenario.

I have no need to be woke enough to virtue signal anything.

          • PK
            Posted at 15:25h, 17 April

Virtue signal…is that what I did there?

Review the video and READ MY COMPASSION for the police officer!

        • HT
          Posted at 15:35h, 18 April

I reserve the phrase “woke idiots” for those who seem to thrown around pseudo rage or compassion, especially any criminals that are killed because of their choices. Also, having only viewing the videos and not having anything directly associated w/ any such shootings, but having any emotions for the criminals after the media have had time to construct a narrative to fit their agenda is a bit phony, in my opinion. Maybe I missed something, but this happened on 3/29, and now they’ve decided to release the video, somehow conveniently right after the sensational “protests” in Minneapolis. Looks like they felt they missed out on the action, and just want to have their own circus show here for a few days.

I’m not giving the police a pass either, because what happened before the video captured what we were fed is just as important.

I guess you’re a better person than I am by having such compassion simply because of a loss. I’m just more stingy of my compassion because there are plenty of truly innocent people and causes that should deserve much more compassion for which I can effectively do something.

Watched the video, and though very sad, our weaponized msm is once again making this into a race issue, when this cop had to react in a split second or potentially be killed. All these stories of people running from cops like they’re in a grand theft auto game is perplexing, which is probably what the msm should be focused on. Chances of being shot when disobeying police in a tense situation must be 1000x more likely.

These bad guys need to completely comply with the orders of the Police officer. He is a trained professional and these bad guys are just trying to be gangsters. If you ignore the Police and try to run, or be slick in any way in a life or death situation, you stand the chance of dying.

Maybe the bad guys do understand it, but unfortunately, the survivors do not. They loved their dead son and do not want to accept the consequences.

Look at the 24 sec mark of the ultraslow video. Go back and forth. Remember there was a strobe-like light flashing which resulted in a shadow intermittently on the wall behind the lad. As he raised is right hand slower than his left watch the shadow. There is an elongated shadow that looks like a gun barrel shadow. Almost subliminal but when seen it might cause a person at risk to fire almost as a reflex. The lighting was almost surreal. The scene is like a tragic magic trick that makes the “gun barrel shadow” disappear in the next frame.

A 13 year old out at 3am with a gun? Why is no one asking why this kid was doing what he was doing, How about asking his parents about that ? If he had been home in bed like most 13 year old kids in Chicago were he would be alive!
Where is the Mayor on this? Did Gov. Pritzker go to this boys funeral? He was too busy a couple weeks ago to attend the funeral of an Illinois State Trooper killed in the line of duty in Mt. Zion IL. How many blacks killed by other blacks in Chicago in the last year and the media is silent on the crimes?

    Posted at 22:02h, 15 April

Maybe I’m missing something here, but isn’t the timing to release the video convenient? This happened 3/29, and just because the media here is missing out on the “peaceful protest” in MN, there’s a need to cause similar mayhem here?

There’s a special place in hell for these so-called media. There will be a point in time when the constant narrative of pitching everyone against the White man will cause a real rupture in society, and likely one that will have many unintended consequences.

What’s the hip thing to do these days? Worship the criminals, both domestic and foreign, as long as they aren’t White.

How many store are still open to be looted? How many pairs of sneakers will be justice? TVs? Liquors?

I can’t even imagine why anyone, especially a White person, would even care to work as a police officer?

He had a gun in his right hand 8/10ths of a second just as he turned to face the officer. The officer, knowing that he just fired at a vehicle minute’s earlier thought he was going to be drawn on by him and shot first. It was not in the officers view that the gun was tossed away as he turned. If the gun was dropped as instructed this wouldn’t have happened, instead he tried to be slick and try to act like he didn’t have the gun and, sadly, paid the ultimate price.

Yep, that about sizes it up. I was listening to Newsmax today and they said something the mainstream media keeps leaving out. All of these guys that have become famous dying have a number of things in common. It is not just the fact that they are not white as the media and the crowd likes to say. They all have or they all are breaking the law and they refuse to take direction from the Police. They think they can disregard the Police for whatever reason. If they just stopped and let the Police do their job and arrest them, they would be alive. Maybe they think they were innocent, Maybe they think they don’t have to listen to anyone. But, proof be told, they do. When the Police says stop, and you do not, you have to except the consequences. Had they stopped when ordered, they likely would have lived. There are bad cops that will take advantage of the situation, which is why you need over sight. We need to keep that vigilant to keep the lid on it, but we have given the Police the authority and we need to back them up. All the good ones … and most are.

So the penalty for “disobeying” a cop is death? No trial, no jury, just death. I guess this is one way for the Republicans to lower the number of minority voters.

        • HT
          Posted at 00:10h, 17 April

So you’re assuming that all minorities are criminals? Well, that’s so typically liberal!
Try critical thinking for a change, and answer this: What proportion of the population of those “minority” ‘hoods is of a criminal capacity?

Typical liberal, with asinine assumption, and silly thinking.

The punishment for being a criminal is being exposed to a higher probability of getting shot by police. A minority father or mother who were in bed sleeping at 3am in order to wake up at 5am to go work gets to stay alive and well and vote however he/she wants.

But no worries, your feeble fart and his giggling joker are doing their best to replace your “minority” voter by opening the border and letting in large magnitude.

Minnesota man hits cop with hammer and drags him with his pickup and no shots were fired. Of course. He is white.

What about the thousands of attackers on the Capital on January 6th? Those thugs were beating cops with poles and fists yet only one of them was shot. Of course, they were white.

Non compliance with the police ends differently for people of color. Mainstream media is not telling lies just because you disagree with them.
