DuPage Township Clerk Resigned –

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On February 11, 2021

Bolingbrook, IL. (ECWd) –

Last night, the DuPage Township Clerk sent an email resigning from office.

There was an issue last month (in this article) with the Township Election Lottery Notice not being sent to the party chairmen, and the Lottery drawing occurring even after warnings by the Republican Party Chairman and a candidate.

The Lottery drawing showed the Republican ball was drawn, placing them first on the ballot.

The Democrat party correctly indicated there should be another drawing, one that meets the statutes, but ultimately settled for an apology.

The apology did not happen, but instead a resignation was tendered.

The clerk’s resignation seems drastic and really unfortunate.
