Who’s car was he driving? If not his, “you do not need a valid drivers license to own a car in Illinois” Their license should be revoked and they should be charged along with Mattox! Look at the Illinois Secretary of States web site. It outlines punishment for DUI. It has details of how the office handles DUI offenders up to 7 convictions!!

This many is safer in jail than out on the streets of Richland County, He won’t last long in public. He might get the justice the courts refuse to give,

I feel the families of the deceased should hold JB Pritzker responsible since he won’t allow indoor services. I normally don’t favor lawsuits, especially frivolous but this is an exception for me. Sad, so sorry for such a tragic loss.

And, if he had been stopped by an officer prior to this incident occurring, the driver would most likely have said, “Why aren’t you out arresting REAL bad guys. You’re gonna ruin my life. All I was trying to do was get home.” NO MERCY for DUIs! Start routine incarceration when they are stopped for traffic violations and are found guilty of DUI.
