WILL CO., IL. (ECWd) –
In an attempt at reversing the Court’s October 24, 2019 Plenary Stalking, No Contact Order against him, John Norton decided to file a Motion for “Contenpt” (misspelling intentional) against the attorney for the woman he [Norton] was stalking.
In today’s Hearing, the Court DENIED the Motion for Contenpt and set a new Hearing date for Norton’s Motion to Vacate the One-Year Plenary Stalking/No Contact Order (Emergency Stalking Order Here) for August 25, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. He tried a reconsideration before and it was also Denied (here).
After the Hearing was over, Norton attempted to approach the bench again, while wildly flailing his arms and yelling something unintelligible about us being in the courtroom and that he needed police escort to his vehicle (something he never requests during township meetings).
Court Security removed him from the front of the courtroom and told him to sit in a bench about halfway to the back.
Later, we spotted him being escorted, while not wearing a mask, to his vehicle by a Will County Deputy (video below)
