By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On July 24, 2020

Springfield, IL. (ECWd) –

After receiving the Court’s July 7, 2020, Order stating that “Due to the City of Carlinville’s unauthorized actions, Illinois Alluvial Regional Water Company (“IARWC”) was created in violation of the law and is a VOID Corporation,” the Illinois Secretary of State “Involuntarily Dissolved” the corporation on July 22, 2020.

This action comes after a more than 2 year court battle against the City of Carlinville for their action in forming a private company, with another municipality and another private company, for the purpose of contracting from the newly formed company to provide water to the residents of Carlinville and others.

After listening to a recording of Mr. Kraft and Mr. Allen speak during the public comment portion of the City’s July meeting, 2 years seems to have been completely unnecessary had city been conducting FOIA matters lawfully; and perhaps sought alternate legal advice. Still Mr. Allen implored. The back of Mr. Kraft and Mr. Allen heads looked great too.
