Wind Turbine transport temporarily stuck in Paris this morning –

PARIS, IL. (ECWd) –

A piece of a Harvest Ridge wind turbine traveled through Paris, Illinois this morning, and after having trouble making a turn, it proceeded north on Route 1.

    Where was this load going? If it was going up around Newman why go through Paris? The viaduct on 36 is not tall enough.

    Oh, it’s interesting the wind turbine people continue to put up those useless pieces of equipment. It’s always interesting besides the taxpayer subsidies, I get charged on my gas/electric bill a renewable energy tax.
