Oath or affirmation. Before entering upon the duties of their respective offices, all municipal officers, whether elected or appointed, shall take and subscribe the oath or affirmation required by the Illinois Constitution. The subscribed oath or affirmation shall be filed in the office of the municipal clerk. (Source: P.A. 87-1119.)

This clerk showed no respect for herself or the laws she was elected or appointed to follow. She might think it looks cute to make such a statement, but this classless joke is on her as it really reflects on her inability to hold this office now or in the future. If she was smart she would resign now and not have any more tantrums. She is not qualified to continue.
