Onarga Library mum on illegally voting board member off board –

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On June 16, 2019

The Onarga Community Public Library District Board of Trustees held its monthly meeting on June 11, 2019.

After a late start, the Board heard our complaint about their illegal vote and removal of a board member last October.

Imagine if the majority of an elected board could simply vote the minority of the board out of office – what a perfect little world they could create for themselves…nobody would have a differing opinion, ever.

My public comment consisted of letting them know they acted in violation of state law and asking them to acknowledge and rectify their past bad decision.

They sat silent, like good little sheeple.

This will most likely get resolved in the courts if they cannot bring themselves to issue a simple apology and to acknowledge they do not have the power to vote a board member off the board.

Video is below, and under that is a copy of my last email, that was never answered, to the board and its attorney.
