McHenry Co. (ECWd) –
Today was the scheduled hearing regarding the Algonquin Township Road District Highway Commissioner’s contempt charge related to the Union 150 Arbitration matters on terminated employees.
Gasser was in attendance and the ruling from the judge was the contempt was Purged, thus no violation of the courts prior order on the matter.
A copy of the Evidence of Purge filing can be viewed at this link.
Local Union 150’s has a pending petiton for fees which will be addressed in the next two weeks. Our review of the collective barganing agreement found no provision for attorney fees, which should mean such a petition for fees would be denied.
Gasser is greatful the contempt charge is purged and maintains the prior order that led to the contempt charge was never made clear in the January 10th order and he is looking forward to the appeal process.
A copy of the order can be downloaded at this link or viewed below.
We understand Algonquin Township Trustee Racheal Lawrence was in attendance. Lawrence has been on a mission to have Gasser prosecuted for numerous alleged crimes ranging from Extorsion to Official Misconduct. We suspect the Purge of the contempt charge comes as a disappointment to Lawrance who orginally wasted no time posting on Social Media about the contempt charge.
In a seperate termination of a union employee a recent Administrative Law Judge ruling resulted in the termination being upheld by the Judge, meaning Gasser’s actions were upheld. Lawrence had alleged this termination was in violation of the union contract. The ruling indicates she was wrong.
We will update on future court precedings on the Local Union 150 case as there are several first impression matters before the appellate court in this case.
