There was a meeting of the DuPage Township Board called for Feb 4th, Trustees Maripat Oliver and Ken Burgess decided not to attend, leaving less than a majority of a quorum as that term is defined in the open Meetings Act.
Trustees Benford and Raga used the time to interact in a town hall style gathering. They heard comments from the public in attendance and answered questions.
The key issue was the appointment of a Supervisor so checks could be written and payroll paid.
There is a meeting scheduled for February 12, 2019, to appoint a Supervisor.
