Something is wrong in the Atlanta Library District.
They will be quick to tell you “nothing to see here” – but when a Federal Grand Jury has subpoenaed records from them, I think we can all recognize that there is something to see there.
A person posted a heavily redacted copy of the Federal Grand Jury Subpoena (see below) on Facebook.
On seeing the unlawful redactions, I requested an unredacted copy from the library under the Freedom of Information Act. They have yet to respond to the FOIA.
We will post the unredacted version when we get a copy, either thru the library’s providing it under FOIA, or when a Judge orders them to provide it – either way, we will get a copy.
Until then, we have no idea which documents the Federal Grand Jury wanted to look at.
