Will Co. (ECWd) –
Wesley Township must now answer to the courts for refusing to comply with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for public records.
From the Township Clerk Sarah Norton first claiming they would respond in a few weeks when she gets back from vacation, to the Supervisor Joann Quigley requesting ten more days, we finally said enough is enough. While waiting almost 2 months for a response that never came, we filed our FOIA lawsuit in Will County on Wednesday of last week.
A case management hearing is set for January 7th, 2019.
