Shelby Co. (ECWd) –
The village of Tower Hill’s former Treasurer, Nancy Finley, has been charged with a Class X Felony for alleged theft of over $100,000.00.
Will this be another micro-example of Dixon Illinois where over $50,000,000 million was stolen, all while everyone claimed clean audits?
The village has a reported Revenue of $300,180.00. Expenditures exceed revenues by $63,417 in 2016 with a debt load of $90,000.00. $90K? Is this one of those red flag numbers? What are the odds that their actual debt is a perfectly round number? This particular debt is for a Revenue Bond according to the filings with the Illinois Comptroller.
Bail was set at $50,000 on November 9th, 2017. No plea has been entered as of the time of this report.

Posted at 08:38h, 13 NovemberThere is a mental defect in those who think they will not get caught. Criminal defense attorney, here’s your criminal defense-“Not guilty due to mental defect”. Instead of jail, a locked psych ward for 30 years.
