Kansas Fire Protection District wins Water Ball contest

Ashmore (ECWd) –

Ashmore Fire Department once again hosted numerous Fire Departments for the Annual Water Ball tournament during the annual Ashmore Days festival. This event is a long standing tradition in the Fire Service and is used as a means to attract volunteers for local Fire Departments while at the same time provides hands on training for pump operations and hose line handling techniques.

Kansas Fire Protection District took first place with Ashmore FPD second, and Lincoln Fire FPD third. Also competing were Brocton and Seven Hickory Fire Departments.
