(Video) – House Fire – Suspected Arson in Paris, Illinois –

PARIS, IL. (ECWd) –

703 Douglas Street, Paris, IL.

Witnesses say they spotted a female running from the house and noticed smoke coming out of the building – there are unconfirmed reports that she in custody of the Paris Police Department.

House was allegedly set on fire while a couple was sleeping in the basement.

House is total loss and is “suspected” arson.

No injuries reported.

Responding units included the Paris (4 units), Oliver (2 units), and Chrisman (1 unit), and Vermilion Fire Departments.
