Village of Chatham - Resignation of Village Clerk requested for election law violations

Sangamon Co. (ECWd) -

I first exposed the violations of election law by authorities of the Village of Chatham in this article.  During the regular meeting on Tuesday the 27th, I asked for the village clerk's resignation during public comment where I addressed the violations of allowing petition packets to be withdrawn, altered, and added to.

If the public can't trust their election documents with their elected officials, then it's time for them to resign and/or be replaced at the next election.
