ECWd –
This print was recently given to us and will soon be framed.
It was published in the Chicago Sun-Times in 1963.
I was in 3rd grade when this was published. It was drawn by Bill Mauldin after President Kennedy was assassinated. The current plight of Illinois citizens gives new cause for Lincoln’s anguish.
Yep – and it was published on the back page on November 22, 1963.
This is not President Kennedy. That is Abraham Lincoln. You people don’t know anything.
Jeanne – you continue to make a fool of yourself. Nobody said it was Kennedy. Have you learned how to read yet?
I still have that newspaper. It was named “The Weeping Lincoln”
