College of DuPage - Plaintiff Burkhart voluntarily withdrew Hamilton from lawsuit -

College of DuPage (ECWd) -

Update on the lawsuit:

According to court records, Plaintiffs voluntarily withdrew their case against Kathy Hamilton this morning in DuPage court.

Judge Popejoy recused himself and Judge Sutter will be the one to hear the case.

Schedule is set, with oral argument set for May 6th at 9:30 a.m. in courtroom 2014.

    I hope you guys are able to get the case dismissed or win it and have Burkhart pay for your legal fees. Seems like a completely frivolous lawsuit.

    So, she agreed to step down from the board and in exchange they would drop their lawsuit against her?

      no. the lawsuit was filed long after she stepped down.
