MARSHALL, IL. (ECWd) –
The Clark County Electoral Board has transmitted a message stating that a Hearing on Objections [to the petitions for Clark County Park District Commissioner] will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at 2 p.m. (1400 hrs.) in the small Courtroom at the Clark County Courthouse.
The only Objections that I am aware of at this time are Objections to the Petitions of: Terry Stepp, Larry Yargus, Jennifer Davidson, Joe Ewing, and Jerry Rankin. (Previous article on the Objections here)
The Clark County Clerk, Clark County Circuit Clerk, and the Clark County State’s Attorney are the statutory members of the Electoral Board. The Clark County Clerk is the president of the board.
The board is a public body subject to the Open Meetings Act.
