Clark County Park District facing FOIA Lawsuit –

MARSHALL, IL. (ECWd) –

What can I say, other than “allegedly” violate FOIA, face lawsuit.

Today I filed suit in Clark County Circuit Court alleging that the Clark County Park District had violated the Freedom of Information Act by denying a request for public records.

On December 5, 2014, I requested records of payments made to PDRMA, Park District Risk Management Association, and other public records. My request was denied in its entirety.

I appealed the decision, and did not even get the courtesy of a response from the park district.
