EDGAR CO. –
Today’s update on the Edgar County Transit District “situation” we reported last week.
Here is what we have been able to figure out:
+ The Edgar County Transit District is a “Public Body”.
+ State and Federal Auditors are involved in an audit requested by the Transit District Board.
+ Miller has returned “alot of the things that were purchased using the District’s funds”.
+ When the audits are complete, the board will determine what, if anything, they plan to do about the situation.
+ I have submitted multiple FOIA requests with due dates by Wed of this week and will provide more information as it becomes available.
